Jill Ellis makes a home for her family in Miami

On those occasions when she’s not travelling, Jill Ellis makes her home in South Florida. A native of Portsmouth, England, the U.S. coach lives in Palmetto Bay, south of Miami, with her partner, Betsy Stephenson, and their daughter, Lily, a fourth-grader whom they adopted as a baby.

Here’s a feature from the Miami Herald on what life is like on the home front for Ellis as she prepares for the 2015 World Cup.

The coach, by the way, turned 48 this past Saturday.
