Fox Soccer has a wide-ranging interview with Carli Lloyd, who says she’s not thinking about the Zika virus as she gets ready for the Rio Olympics.

On another subject, Lloyd says she wishes the NWSL had a better TV deal, one that would allow for more televised games. “It’s tough for viewers have to go to YouTube and watch games,” she says.

Her sprained knee is healing just fine, she says, and she’ll be ready to go when the Rio Games begin in the first week of August.

Everything is good, I haven’t had any setbacks. … With each day and each week, the pain and tightness is diminishing. …

I still have plenty of time — all of July, if you think about it. … So I’ll be ready to go.
