Graham Hays, writing for ESPNW, says few players in history have gone on a scoring binge to rival Carli Lloyd’s.

She has 14 goals in her last eight games, including back-to-back hat tricks in the two Victory Tour matches against Haiti. Only two other U.S. women, Mia Hamm and Cindy Parlow, have recorded back-to-back hat tricks.

Here’s the most stunning statistic that Hays came up with:

“Only 19 players have scored 30 career goals for the national team. … Lloyd has scored 31 goals since the start of last year.”
